Get ready to mix, experiment, and discover! World of Chemistry is an exciting, hands-on program where campers dive into the building blocks of matter and learn how chemistry connects to the world around them.
Campers will explore basic chemistry concepts—like atoms, reactions, and solutions—through fun experiments and creative challenges. Then, they’ll see how these ideas come to life in the real world, applying their new knowledge to fascinating fields such as forensics, medicine, the environment, as well as chemicals we use in everyday life.

Kelly Weldy taught science in local public schools for 16 years before joining the faculty of Bob Jones Academy in 2024 where she teaches physical science and chemistry. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Biology Education and earned a M.Ed. in Gifted in Talented Education from Converse University in 2000. Her own children have participated in many EDUcamps and she is thrilled to help children nurture their love for and talents in science!
