About:
The Youth Baseball Camp at Bob Jones University provides quality instruction along with competitive games and age appropriate drills. Your teen will have the wonderful opportunity of developing their skills on the beautiful stadium field of Bruin's baseball at Conestee Park. We have designed a progressive plan to improve the skills of each participant. We will spend time on learning how to play to glorify God, developing individual skills, proper baseball strategy, and scrimmage to apply what has been learned. We look forward to having you join us!

Cost:
$200 ($225 after May 1)

Check-in:
Monday 12:40 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Conestee Park Stadium - 840 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC

Camp Ends:
Camp ends each day at 4 pm at Conestee Park

Attendees:
Ages 12-14 (boys)

What to expect:

• Receive individual attention and learn offensive and defensive skills….hitting, fielding the fly ball and ground ball, throwing mechanics, and baserunning.
• Play scrimmage games to put instruction into action
• Interaction and instruction from Bruins coaches and players
• Gain the necessary confidence to be an effective competitor with the proper spirit of Christian sportsmanship
• Devotional times
• All players will receive a Bruins Baseball Camp T-shirt

• Labeled Water Bottle

• Tennis Shoes
• Cleats
• Glove

Meet Coach Casteel: Coach Brent Casteel has an extensive career with a game of baseball as a coach and former professional player. He played for the Chicago Cubs organization as a catcher for three years, helping his team win the Carolina League Championship in 1986. Casteel is an alumnus of BJU and came back to the University to begin the baseball program. He enjoys teaching the sport and helping players develop individual skills as well as challenging players from God's Word. Questions? Contact Coach Casteel.
