Launch your business!

Business Startup is a boot camp for future entrepreneurs, where team leaders and associates spend up to 20 hours working on starting a business. God has given us skills to solve problems large and small and to think about things in new and different ways. These entrepreneurial skills are highly sought after and will help you stand out from the crowd in your college applications and future career path.

Whether your talents lie in art, business, music, science or technology, come to Business Startup EDUcamp to be inspired to think in new ways, develop new skills and solve problems that matter to you all for God’s glory.

Each action-packed day at Business Startup EDUcamp is different. You will learn to think like an entrepreneur and develop new ideas. Feedback from Christian entrepreneurs will help you bring your ideas to life. You will be challenged to go above and beyond what you think is possible. And along the way, we’ve built in a few surprises.

Activities

  • Collaborate with others in a series of fast-paced, competitive challenges that will build your entrepreneurial skills.
  • Learn to think like an entrepreneur and put your new skills to the test.
  • Identify a problem that needs to be solved and work in your team to identify an innovative solution.
  • Learn from and get feedback from inspirational Christian entrepreneurs.
  • Learn how to pitch your ideas effectively in our “Bear Den.”
  • Grow spiritually through Bible challenges related to entrepreneurial skills.
  • Leave better prepared to make a difference in the world for God’s glory.
  • Camp ends with a Business Pitch in the “Bear Den” in the Business Co-Lab on the 2nd floor of the Alumni Building.
