Musical Theatre
Love singing, acting & choreography? Musical Theatre camp is for you!
This fun-filled, energetic camp is for the one who loves singing, acting, and choreography. Our camp focuses on creativity and exposes you to the world of musical theatre. You’ll learn vocal warm-ups, basics of theatre, acting, choreography, and musical theatre techniques. You’ll benefit from daily devotional challenges that strengthen your faith and help develop a biblical worldview. The week will culminate in a showcase performance for family and friends. Each camper will perform in the opening and closing number and also in a duet, trio, or quartet. Space is limited, and the camp fills up quickly.
Auditions
Please record and email yourself singing 32 bars from your favorite musical to anolan@bju.edu. You may sing a capella, with live accompaniment or accompaniment track (costumes, set, props not necessary).
Supply List
Please bring a white shirt, a black shirt (shirts should have no writing), black pants (not athletic), and dark shoes (not sneakers). If you are actively involved in theatre or plan to continue in theatre, we highly recommend purchasing character or rehearsal shoes.
