Develop unity and athletic prowess at the EDUcamp designed especially for teams. Prepare for your upcoming season by improving your technique and endurance as you train with professional college coaches and athletes.

Each team is given individual attention by our college coaching staff and players on the subject areas of their choosing such as man-to-man defense, zone defense, man offense, etc. Teams will play multiple games each day and receive instruction in group sessions.

At EDUcamp you’ll benefit from daily devotionals and Bible challenge sessions that will strengthen your faith and help you develop a strong biblical worldview. Camp instructors will demonstrate how you can glorify God by using each new skill.

What to expect ...

  • Daily interaction with collegiate players
  • Exposure to our collegiate philosophy of offense and defense
  • Focus on fundamentals and individual skill improvement including ball-handling, shooting, live ball moves, etc.
  • Daily classroom sessions focusing on character development and the mental game
  • Daily games and contests to put instruction into action
  • Final contests and attend awards ceremony on the final day of camp
  • Gain the necessary confidence to be an effective competitor with the proper spirit of Christian sportsmanship

Mike LeVeire

Mike LeVeire

Mr. Mike LeViere joined the Bruins coaching staff in 2012. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in sport studies and completed coursework for a master’s degree in sport administration. He has over 15 years of coaching experience, as well as experience as a teacher, athletic director and director of development. Since joining the staff at BJU, the Bruins basketball team has ranked in the top 25 nationally (NCCAA DI) for three seasons. This year, the Bruins have consistently been ranked in the top 5 (NCCAA DII).
